Notes ON THE VILLAGE OF JABLONCA.

In 1386, "Zedlyche" aka Jablonca  was first mentioned in the form of a family estate .János Bebek of Pelsöcz (Abt 1370 - 1419) and the Bebek family held the surrounding territories for years. The village situates where there was once a medieval castle . The old church was built around 1500,was demolished in 1867 and a new Catholic church was built in 1867 in honor of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The church was renovated in 2006.The Calvinist Reformed church in Jablonca, was built in 1789 with the tower corner stamped in the date of XVIII.
