Holloway is an inner-city area (since 1965) in the London Borough of Islington, located 3.8 miles (6.1 km) north of Charing Cross and follows for the most part, the line of the Holloway Road (A1 road). At the centre of Holloway is the Nag's Head area. Holloway is home to a very multicultural population, is one of the most densely populated areas of London, and is home of Arsenal Football Club.

Holloway was formerly in the Islington metropolitan borough in the County of London from 1900 until 1965. At the 2001 UK census, the population of Holloway was 41,329.
