Herrings is a hamlet and village in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The population was 90 at the 2010 census, down from 129 in 2000. The hamlet is named after two brothers who owned a paper mill in the area.

Herrings is at the western edge of the town of Wilna and is east of Watertown.
