Great Hormead is a village and ancient parish in the East Hertfordshire District of Hertfordshire, England. The parishes of Great Hormead and Little Hormead were merged in 1937 to become the new civil parish of Hormead. The parish also contained the hamlet of Hare Street.

Great Hormead is a small village standing near the River Quin on the B1038 road.
