Place:Fairview Cemetery, Clarksville, Red River, Texas, United States

Located on the western edge of Clarksville and established by the Clarksville Cemetery Association, which purchased eight acres for it in 1895. Subsequent adjacent land purchases (including two acres by the Hebrew Cemetery Association) expanded the cemetery until it totaled about twenty acres, all of it from the headright survey originally filed by John M. Ritchey. There are now more than 2,800 burials, the earliest of which is the pre-existing burial of David C. Russell, who died Dec 1870.
