Easby is a hamlet and civil parish now in the Richmondshire District of North Yorkshire, England, but in the North Riding of Yorkshire before 1974. It is situated near Richmond on the banks of the River Swale, approximately 12 miles (19 km) northwest from the county town of Northallerton. In 2011 the number of inhabitants counted in the UK census, as taken by ONS was less than 100. Population of parishes of this size are included with that of a neighbouring parish, in this case, the parish of Hudswell.
