"DUNDEE, a post village in Huntingdon co., Que., on Salmon River and on G.T.R., 10- miles from Summerstown, 70 miles south-west of Montreal. The village is situated on the west side of the river, about 5 miles from its entrance into the St. Lawrence, and partly in the State of New York, the boundary line running through it. On the opposite side is Fort Covington, in the State of New York. Steamboats ascend to this point. It is a port of entry, and has 2 churches, 1 telegraph office, 1 hotel and 2 stores. Pop. 200."
