Dobruška is a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,700 inhabitants. The town is known as the birtplace of Czech patriotic writer František Ladislav Hek, whose career was described in Alois Jirásek's novel F. L. Věk. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.
