Located near the intersection of County Road 1412 & FM 1487, just south of the community of Cuthand and close to the Cuthand Baptist Church. It was officially established (according to the sign) in 1878, though the Tipping family sold three acres to the church in 1872, and the earliest burial was that of Lundy C. Byrd, who died Jan 1870. It was expanded by another sale by the Tippings in 1930. The cemetery is still in active use and there are presently about 1,600 burials.
