Place:Cloney, Kilberry, County Kildare, Republic of Ireland

Cloney is a townland in County Kildare, on the border with County Laois. It lies about six miles north of the town of Athy and six miles south of the town of Monasterevin.

Cloney falls within the historic civil parish of Kilberry and the Roman Catholic parish of Athy.

The western border of the townland is the River Barrow. It contains the remains of a castle and church. Whilst very little of either is now visible, the ruined church's graveyard is still extant.
