"Cedar Creek Friends Cemetery was begun soon after Cedar Creek Preparative Meeting was set of by Salem Friends Monthly Meeting in January 1841. To the right of the archway the stones are placed in order of burial. Many stones in this part of the cemetery are now buried under sod. First burial found is for Edward Hockett a hand carved stone with year 1841 on it." Website by Jean Leeper
