Catigbian, officially the Municipality of Catigbian, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 23,805 people. Catigbian was formerly known as San Jacinto, and officially changed to its current name in 1954. Catigbian is named after a certain group of seed-bearing plants named "Katigbi" (Coix lacrymajobi), which grow abundantly. [edit] Research Tips
