Carroll County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is named in honor of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, signer of the Declaration of Independence. The population was 20,816 in the 2010 census, a decline from 21,421 in 2000.[1] Its county seat is Carroll.
