Located just outside the community of Bagwell. Benjamin Wetherly, a veteran of the War with Mexico and the Civil War, donated two acres here for a church and community cemetery in 1872. The earliest recorded burial is that of Abel J. Bollinger, who died in March of that year. The Baptist Church of Christ was associated with it until the early 20th century when it relocated. Adjoining tracts were added and the cemetery expanded under the informal governance of a local committee. The Bluff Cemetery Association, organized in 1986, now manages the cemetery, which presently has about 750 burials.
