Arietta is a town in Hamilton County, New York, United States. The population was 304 at the 2010 census. The town was named after the mother of one of the first settlers, Rensselaer Van Rennslaer. [edit] History
The town was first settled around 1827 at Piseco Lake. The town of Arietta was formed in 1836,[1] from the town of Lake Pleasant.
