How do we know William Reed (11) is not the William Reed on 1:252? Trying to understand...-- UPDATE: Just found the answer on William Reed (2)! Have to digest it now...Frank 19:17, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

Edit conflict, but I'll just post it anyways. :It's been years since I read the arguments through carefully. I believe the short answer is because the father who lived in Weymouth in 1639 left (to Boston) soon after, presumably taking his children with him, and a different William came to Weymouth settled there about 1653 who was the father of this son.
