Stoke, Devon, England is a hamlet outside Hartland at the northwest corner of Devon. Do you mean Stoke Damerel?--it's much closer to Plymouth (and a much bigger place). --Goldenoldie 10:41, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm not sure which it is. I was not working from the baptism record, but from a secondary source which simply gives "Stoke, co. Devon". --Werebear 15:23, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
