I think we've got an improper merge here - the 1st Earl of Worcester and the 4th Earl of Warwick? These are two different people! I didn't know there was any attempt to merge these two gents. They are, indeed, two separate people. But, which two? There seem to have been a number of people who took the title, 4th Earl of Warwick. Thomas Percy, 1st Earl of Worcester (1343 – 23 July 1403) This is clear. But which of these guys has been merged with Percy? Waleran de Newburgh 4th Earl of Warwick (1184-1203); Thomas Beauchamp, 4th Earl of Warwick George Guy Greville, 4th Earl of Warwick Now my curiosity is piqued. Dick Holmes Do not merge this page with Person:Waleran de Beaumont, 4th Earl of Warwick (1). I think I've extracted everything obviously related to the 4th Earl, and made things consistent with WP over there. Perhaps the other "4th" earls you note, are later creations? --Jrm03063 12:30, 10 June 2009 (EDT) |
