In anycase, the citation is "Ohio County, VA (WV) Index Vol.8". That's an incomplete citation, and would probably not be recoverable without more information---for example, what is Vol. 8 an Index of? land records? marriage records? court records? tax records?

Finally, how is it that a record for WV is relevant to someone who apparently lived and died in Tidewater Virginia (Henrico, Pittsylvania County, Nottoway County?). Exactrly what information is being extracted from this source that relates to Susannah Porter? How is a court record for Susannah Quinn in 1807 related to Susannah Porter who died in 1798 Q 07:36, 5 June 2009 (EDT)
