DNA - Stephen Jackson [22 February 2019]

My name is Rosemary Crawford Miller. I descend from Stephen JACKSON and Nancy HENDRICK/KENDRICK through their daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" KENDRICK JACKSON who married David CRAWFORD. I have long held that the Stephen JACKSON who married Nancy COOK was not the same Stephen JACKSON who named the children of Nancy HENDRICK/KENDRICK as his natural children under the NC Laws of 1804. However, my brother, Ben CRAWFORD submitted DNA to FTDNA and the results have show that we are a DNA match to descendants of William JACKSON and Able JACKSON, the sons of Nancy COOK and Stephen JACKSON. After further study, we find that there are AULD descendants who not only match our DNA through their ancestor, Mary KENDRICK JACKSON AULD but also match the JACKSON DNA further confirming our discovery that the "two" Stephen JACKSONs are one and the same!

After many years, the identity of the mysterious Stephen JACKSON has finally been answered!--Rone 01:41, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
