No evidence for parents [12 May 2014]

There does not appear to be any information to support the identification of her parents. It appears that someone assumed that she was the sister of Vincent Breau of Acadia and that Vincent Breau of Acadia was the same as the Vincent Breau baptized 29 May 1629 in St. Clement Parish, St. Jean-de-Sauves, Vienne, France, son of René BRAULT & Marie RENAUME, and therefore linked Renée to René BRAULT & Marie RENAUME. However, both suppositions appear to be wrong - Renée was not the sister of Vincent Breau of Acadia (see notes on his page), and Vincent Breau of Acadia was not the son of René BRAULT & Marie RENAUME.

As far as I can tell from the notes on their pages, the parents of both Renée Brault and Vincent Breau of Acadia are unknown. This is supported by Généalogie des Français d'Amérique du Nord, which provides parents for neither Renée nor Vincent Breau of Acadia. Therefore, I am unlinking Renée from René BRAULT & Marie RENAUME. --DataAnalyst 02:27, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
