Death date unknown [16 December 2011]

The book Wakefield memorial--comprising an historical, genealogical and biographical register of the name and family of Wakefield, on page 204, gives her death date as September 24, 1703. (This date appears to have been added to the Ancestral File as Sep 24, 1705.) However, this is the date that Mary (-----) Dibble, wife of Ebenezer Dibble and mother of a child born in 1701, died in Colchester, CT (Colchester VR). This was clearly a different Mary, not the Mary who survived Ebenezer Dibble (1641-1675) and married James Hillier. There does not appear to be a record of the death of Mary (Wakefield) (Dibble) Hillier. --DataAnalyst 16:52, 16 December 2011 (EST)

Concur that there does not appear to be a record of her death. However, she must have died prior to 30 March 1698/99, for her husband married the widow Mary (Case) Alderman on that date at Simsbury.--jaques1724 17:15, 22 February 2012 (EST)
