This page shows Joseph Chandler, b. 1638, m. 1700 to Martha Hunt. He would have been 62 and no previous marriage is listed and Martha Hunt, who was born 1678, would have been 40 years younger than him.

Source:Mayflower Descendant, p. 14:66, summarizing the Chandler family, says that Joseph² s/o Edmund¹ d. 1721 leaving a widow Mercy. Joseph³, son of Joseph², m. 1701 Martha HUnt and went to North Yarmouth, ME, before Feb 1728/29. --Jrich 10:01, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
