birth date [20 July 2011]

I removed the birth date of 20 Jul 1645 in Newbury. That John could not be the John on this page as several events on this page would have occurred while he was still a child (admitted to church 1652, freeman 1654, married per Dedham records 1662). In addition to this, the naming pattern of children strongly suggest that the son of Richard is the John Kent who married Sarah Woodman, whereas this John did not name any children either Richard or Emma. Richard vs John Kents [4 February 2020]

Richard Kent has a son named John Kent Jr. who was born 1645 and married Sarah Woodman. Another John Kent arrived in Dedham from England on 15 Apr 1645 on the ship Increase who was married to Hannah Grizwold. Therefore, these are not the same persons. John Kent Jr born 1645 is the correct son of Richard. Immigrant John Kent has unknown parents.--Jhanrahan 05:24, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
