From John Allen (273): Which family [15 February 2012]

The Eddy family gives no information on son John, no dates, nothing. It is hardly obvious how he can fit into the family of the first marriage of Ebenezer unless his mother died giving birth to him. But no comment no evidence is mentioned. In the text they mention the 7 children of Ebenezer's second marriage and cite NEHGR 54:396, where the 7 children includes John! Unlike the Eddy family, the article does give information. Since the second marriage occurred summer of Aug 1712, John was baptized Sept 1713, and d. 1790 aged 77 (i.e., born 1713), all evidence says that he belongs to the second marriage. I am merging him into the John that already exists there. --Jrich 09:46, 15 February 2012 (EST)
