- Undoubtedly they did know more, but it appears some of that knowledge didn't get communicated, and until somebody rediscovers the basis, the proof-level of their assertions is basically assumption. I doubt rediscovering it is hard, it is most likely the date from some probate document, whether the inventory, or citation to heirs, etc. --Jrich 09:59, 19 February 2013 (EST)
- First guess would be land records, although these guys cited Essex Deeds a lot and didn't in this case--jaques1724 10:28, 19 February 2013 (EST).
