Bad birth estimate [16 November 2009]

The currently estimated birth date of Abt. 1634 is inconsistent with the birthplace of "Prob. Concord" since Hannah's father George did not emigrate by 1634 (daughter Elizabeth baptized in England in 1636).

The date of 1634 is unlikely with a marriage in 1673? 1672? (at age 38?), followed by 10 children, the last in 1694 (at about age 60?) So of the two guesses here, the "Prob. Concord" is the more likely to be valid.

A marriage in 1672 would require a birth bef. 1655 in order to be of legal age. The order of daughters in George's will is Elizabeth, Sarah, Ruth & Hannah, suggesting Hannah is the last daughter. Sarah is born in 1640 in Concord. Ruth's birth is not known, but given the other children we know about in the 1640's, it seems quite likely that Hannah's birth is more like the 1650 timeframe. For what it is worth, her husband's birth is listed as Feb. 1652/53 based on his age at baptism. --Jrich 10:53, 16 November 2009 (EST)
