Who were his parents?

1. George Griswold and Dorothy James

or

2. George Griswold and Dousabel(le) Leigh?

The 1935 Griswold genealogy identifies no parents at all.

Apparently the answer is in the 1999 "12 Generations of Griswolds" by the Griswold Family Association. They say Dousabel.--jillaine 08:26, 6 December 2008 (EST)
