Baptism [19 July 2015]

I found two references to Caroline Lott's baptism: both at Holy Trinity, Exeter, Devon, England.

My reason for looking was to check the references to Stoke, Devon, England which is a small hamlet in the parish of Hartland in the northwest corner of Devon--a long way away from Exeter and even from Plymouth (and has been linked to a lot of people given the size of the place). Stoke is often used with another word to make a place name and there are about three in the Exeter area and others near Plymouth. I suggest you check your records, particularly those found in the IGI. These have been supplanted by FamilySearch which has records more carefully checked than those provided by the LDS previously. --Goldenoldie 10:37, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
