Marriage after Death? [30 April 2023]

As I found it, this page has Apollos d. 1811 and m. Abigail Partridge with no marriage date or place. There were no sources given and there is absolutely no information on Abigail Partridge's page except a name and gender.A search yields the marriage in Bristol, Maine on Oct. 15, 1815. Nothing in Duxbury where Apollos born or Pembroke where his first marriage occurred. No death location given so I can't verify that town though various sources indicate he moved to Maine. Given that the marriage in Bristol is after the death date, I suspect either it is a different Apollos who married Abigail Partridge, or the death date is incorrect. I don't have any information on his son Apollos b. 1793, and I can't rule out that the son was the one who married an Abigail Partridge. This error seems to originate with Source:Cushman, Henry Wyles. Historical and Biographical Genealogy of the Cushmans which mentions an undated marriage to Abigail Partridge but a death in 1811. --Jrich 20:19, 16 August 2010 (EDT)

The death year of 1811 appears to be incorrect, as he was in the 1820 census in Bristol, Maine. I changed his page accordingly. (Correction to the note above: According to the book (p. 237), he had a grandson (not a son) named Apollos Hunt, born 1793.)--DataAnalyst 19:15, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
