Winthrop P. Blake moved to North Bangor, New York by 1838, and his wife Laura apparently died there before 1846, after which he married Pauline Silva Clary. 1850 census in North Bangor, NY.

Jonathan Blake, a close relative of Winthrop, had land nearby his land and also near the Keeler land. It is unknown whether Jonathan was Winthrop's uncle or his father.
