Willoughby; Probate of Estate: 14 Jun 1853 in Weymouth, Digby, NS per Digby Co Estate Index. His will is signed with his 'mark.' See: History of Baptists of the Maritime Provinces by E M Saunders, 1902, p 74. In 1799, seven men from Digby, David Shook, Willoughby & Ben Sabean who resided at Sissiboo River; James Roop living at Digby Joggins, 20 miles from Digby and Maurice Peters, Peter Harris & Martin Blackford from Digby Neck went to Lower Granville where they were baptised and organized into a church called the Digby Church. As a founding member of this church, Willoughby's name is the fifth and Olive's is the 36th name on the list of original members. [See Sabin Family Newsletter, v3, #3, p9]
