1836 - Appears in White's Directory as a Linen manufacturer living in North Lopham.

1841 - Linen weaver living at North Lopham. With him are his wife and a female servant, Mary WALLIS. (Mary is believed to be the daughter of Gude WALLIS.)

1848 - Described as linen weaver in the administration of the estate of his brother in law John WHITEHEAD. Jointly administered with Rhoda WHITEBREAD and his brother Thomas WOMACK.

1850 - His father's will, dated this year, leaves William a house, barn, stable, buildings, yard, garden and land amounting to about 16 acres. This estate was previously owned by Robert WOMACK and bought by William's father from Robert WOMACK's executors. William was also left further land in North Lopham. He was to have a fifth share of a residuary estate, and the wearing apparel was to be divided equally between the three sons. Joint executor of the estate with William was William's brother-in-law, William WHARTON.

1851 - William WOMACK, linen weaver, was living with his wife on the Green, North Lopham. Widowed Sarah WALLIS was a house servant.

1853 - William was granted the administration of the estate of his sister, Ann, on 21 November 1853. William was described as a linen weaver of North Lopham and named as Ann's eldest brother.

1856 - William made his will dated 7 July 1856. He was described as a farmer and linen manufacturer and was living with his cousin, Ann JOLLEY.

1856 - William was buried next to his wife in a large casket grave at the Methodist cemetery.
