William Walker is part of YDNA group 6 in the FTDNA DNA Project, making him related to John Person:John Walker (264) and Phillip Walker Person:Phillip Walker (6) who lived nearby on Jordan Creek. His is not related to the William Walker who died in Orange (now Rockingham) County in 1769, as this man lived over 40 miles away and had a another son named William (see Person:William_Walker_(212) and Person:William_Walker_(314)). He originally lived on Litter River, near Hillsborough. However, he was a loyalist during the American Revolution, and he was forced to live the rest of his life in Canada.
