• Page 241 - At the age of 16, Margaret Whiteside married a young man named William Thompson a resident of Belfast, Ireland. They had three children, John Thompson, William Thompson and Mary Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson (nee Margaret Whiteside) immigrated to America while their children were quite young and settled in Philadelphia where Mr. Thompson died not long after his arrival. Margaret then married John Sample.
