    William Snyder Sr., died at his home in Reynolds township north of town at 4:30 Friday afternoon from chronic heart disease after two or three years illness. He is survived by Mrs. Snyder and one son, William. Deceased was 85 years and three months of age at his death and had lived here many years. He was a native of Pennsylvania. The funeral was held Sunday at 11:30p.m. from the home with interment in the Reynolds cemetery. (from the Howard City Record 12/16/1909)
