    Large horizontal slab with following inscription:

    "Sir William Skipwith.
    Baronet
    who deceased the
    25th of Feb. 1764
    Aged 56 years.

    A descendant of Sir Henry Skipwith of Prestwood in Leicestershire created Baronet
    by King James the 1st & honoured with King Charles the 1st. Commission for
    raising men against the usurping powers & proved loyal to his King so that he
    was deprived of his estate by the usurpers, who occasioned his and his son's
    death except Sir Greg Skipwith grandfather of the above said Sir William
    Skipwith, who was obliged to come to Virginia for refuge where the family hath
    since continued.
