It is not yet known when William Sizemore and wife, Nancy Stewart migrated to Edgar Co., IL as they do not appear on census until about 1840, at which time five sons and four daughters were in their family. On Aug 24, 1840, William bought 40 acres of land from his youngest brother, John Jr., and on 30 Oct 1841 he bought the adjoining 40 acres from his father. He sold all of this land on 17 Mar 1849. The families moved to Adair Co., MO in 1849. Between 1860-1870, William, wife and son, Rounzsel and his family moved to Barry Co., MO.
