William Sewell (John) of Halstead, born about 1550, received by deed from his father the White Hart Inn in 1576-7, in 1687-8 bought land called Ashfords of Robert Swallock, in 1590-1 sold land called Busshey Lees to John Reeve, and died soon after making his will, 1 Dec. 1609.
