So it looks like he was married, but in 1860 census he is living with brother Charles Wesley Scott. There is a Joanna A. Scott there too, who could possibly be his wife. Also, gravestone near to the above one says:

SCOTT, Willie Our Willie son of William & Annie Scott died May 2nd 1865 aged 5 months and 1 day
