William1 (Sargent), b. ca. 1624; d. at Gloucester, Mass., 9 Feb. 1715/6, "age 93"; m. at Ipswich, Mass., 10 Sept. 1651, Abigail Clark. He was a carpenter. On 28 Sept 1652 he was granted administration of the estate of his cousin Thomas Wathen, son of Edmond, who had died in England in the service of Prince Rupert.
