    William R. "Bill" Rowe, 72, died at 6:25 PM Tuesday, November 14, 1995, Otterbein, Indiana. He was born May 12, 1923, in Round Grove Township, White County, Indiana. He married Carolyn L. Briar on December. 3, 1943, in Otterbein, Indiana.

    Mr. Rowe attended Round Grove School and farmed in the Otterbein community for 55 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Sierra Club, and the Tippecanoe County Humane Society.

    He is survived by his wife, a son, Steven R. Rowe, a daughter, Judith S. (Anthony) Schuno, his mother, Lorene Rowe and a brother, Ralph Rowe.
