Died 06 Jan 1913 - Committed suicide He was 61 yrs of age, the certificate states the following:-" Committed suicide by stabbing himself in the chest with a carpenter's "mark" on the 6th-death instant-what was the state of his mind the evidence is not sufficient to show". Very tragic, apparently William had lost his business and was in dire straits. The inquest was held on the 7th January 1913. William died at 44, Ritson St,Toxteth Park. His second wife Amanda died in 1926 aged 62 of cancer of the uterus.
