1910 Census: He is no longer listed in the household of Alex Preece.


Alex Preece is named the father of Prentice on Dad's death certificate. In my grief I mixed up the father and grandfather.

(Medical):"...died at his home there Thursday morning following a long illness. He and his wife had been in Florida since last October." (obit 25 Feb. 1956)

    Granddad is listed as a boarder at the house of Richard Esterbery and his wife. I found Dewey with him. William is a 28 year old lawyer in general practice, and Dewey is a 29 year old clerk in a general store. I see a note that WHD Preece was 24 yrs old.
