with his father deceased.
Elizabeth Lacey and William Peyton were married 14 Jan 1795 in
Frederick Co. from Frederick Co. Marriage bonds. Frederick County and Louden
are next to each other. Mothers last name shows where Lacy's first name
came from.
Occupation - Planter. Information about William Peyton, his wife, and children was gleaned from old letters and with the help from Virginia Guinther, Carol K night, with census records, marriage data, and family records found in the Lee family bible. Susan Ann Amanda Peyton saved some old notes, etc., in an old scrapbook. Jeanne Alban Evans began this tree in a round about way when she did her own family tree of the Coutellier clan who married Peytons.

When William died around 1833, Elizabeth remarried. His name was Jacob Fred(could be Fudd or Hurd). This information came from several different people. We cannot locate Elizabeth after her remarriage.
