    William Peters [#16], s/o Samuel Peters and Phebe Frie, b. Andover & Jan 1704 [see attached note], d. Medfield 19 Jan 1788 [citing Medfield gravestone (Find A Grave): "Mr. William Peters who died Jan. 19, 1788, in ye 85 year of his age"], m. Medfield 18 Mar 1729 Hannah Chenery.
    [Note: birth "from Colonel Andrew Peter's family Bible. Andover records say November, 1703." Published Andover records say 1703, in brackets, inserted by compiler, both apparent original and copy lack any date information, though copy is recorded on a page headed 1703. Assertion of November has an unknown basis, although compiler thought 1703, nothing actually written in the record conclusively indicates it does or does not agree with the family Bible.]
