William F. Otto Jr., 82 OCALA- William F. Otto Jr., 82, a retired locomotive engineer, died Sunday, October 15, 2000, at Sylvia's Hospice House. A native of Chicago, he moved here from Brooksville in 1997. Mr. Otto retired from Pennsylvania Railroad after 30 years of service. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 2583, Brooksville. Mr. Otto was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Otto, who died June 4, 2000; and his son, William F. Otto III, who was killed in Vietnam. Suevivors include his sister, Doris Otto, Ocala; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Hiers Memorial Chapel at TimberRidge, Ocala, provided information.
