Facts and Events
Family tradition [relayed here] is that William came to Pennsylvania about 1750 with his brothers David and Hugh, before moving into the Carolinas. There is also evidence of a related contemporary named James in North Carolina. William filed an entry for a grant of 640 acres from the Earl of Granville on 10 Oct 1755. (NC Land Grant file 01292) The deed dated 23 May 1758 describes 552 acres on the branches of Haw River and Cain Creek. The family joined the Quaker Church at Cain Creek. In 1801, James Morrow conveyed to John and Andrew Morrow (William's sons) a portion of a tract on Cane Creek conveyed to William Morrow on 23 May 1758. [2] In 180s, James Morrow conveyed to Andrew Morrow 1.75 acres "being part of the plantation that James Morrow Sr. conveyed to William Morrow Sr. beginning on Andrew Morrow's line". (It's not clear which James this is; James Sr. is presumably an older James trading land with William in 1765; it could be his son, or it could be William's son, who was the oldest surviving brother of John and Andrew at the time.)
William was killed in an attack on him and son Hugh in a Revolutionary War skirmish about 1781. Their widows are listed in the 1781 Caswell Dist. Tax List. Sarah, Hugh’s widow, remarried 6 Jun 1782 to William Lee. Children’s births from bible records. Daughters:

TENTATIVE CONNECTION - Nothing ties this William to David and Hannah other than Worth Ray’s theory in “Tennessee Cousins.” He may be related to Group I; he may be related to Group 5 (based on speculation in this book that tested lines in Indiana were "cousins" of William descendants), or none of the above.
