William W. Morrow is found marrying Sarah Wylie in 1821 in Perry Co, AL and is listed in the 1830 Perry Co, AL census. There is a William W. “Wasson” in the 1840 census, which may be a transcription error for Morrow.

In 1850, there are two William Morrow families. Both have wives named Sarah. William age 56 b. SC has children Wiliam W (a lawyer), Jane, Isabella, Eliza, Susan, and Lucinda. William age 51 b. SC, have Francis, Richard, William, Thomas, John, Marcus and Andrew. Of this latter family, none of them appear as Morrow in the census anywhere. Starting in 1860, they appear as “Moore.” William and Sarah with Andrew in 1860, then John C. moves back in, and Sarah continues to live with them in 1880, now listed as born in TN. The IGI lists this family as Wiliam Moore and Sarah Tubb, complete with middle names and birth and death dates. William is listed as b. 28 Mar 1799 in Newberry Dist, SC.
