WILLIAM C. MORGAN The service for William C. Morgan, 92, of Aberdeen will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 15, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Haggar officiating. William died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen. Visitation will be from 1-7 pm Friday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St. Aberdeen. William Morgan was born on July 21, 1915 at Round Lake, MN to Curtis and Caroline (Antritter) Morgan. This is the area where he grew up and attended school. He graduated from Round Lake High School with the Class of 1933. On July 2, 1939 he married Dorothy Paine at Worthington, MN. They made their home on a farm near Round Lake and owned a grocery store. In 1948, he began his sales career with Lindsay Brothers and then later with Allis Chalmers. He retired as Vice President and Director of Marketing and Sales from the Snow Company in Omaha, NE. They moved to Fargo, ND and later to Aberdeen, SD. Dorothy died on June 17, 2001 at Aberdeen. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Aberdeen. Grateful for having shared his life are: his two sons, Thomas Morgan and his dear friend, Diana Hayes, Aberdeen and David (Bonnie) Morgan; his grandchildren, Stacey (Kim) Lang, Amy (Scott) Van Den Einde, Sara (Tony) Docan-Morgan, Scott (Kim) Morgan, Mark (Dawn) Morgan, Todd (Erin) Morgan and Erin Morgan; his great grandchildren, Cole, Landon, Jordan, Dylan, Brandon, Ryan, Raegan, Conner and Riley; and his dear friend, Dorothy Gathright. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, parents, Curtis and Caroline Morgan, daughter-in-law, Sharon Morgan; brother, Paul Morgan, sisters, Clara Beal, Frieda Beal and Florence Morgan.
